A few weeks ago, Chanel released its latest Coco Crush campaign. From mini bracelets in an array of gold hues to rings and earrings detailed with diamonds, each piece narrates a tale of strength and delicacy. The Coco Crush collection extends its allure in a palette of yellow, white or beige gold, inviting patrons into a realm where elegance knows no boundaries.
To celebrate the launch of the campaign, on Thursday (January 18), we partnered with Chanel to throw the ultimate Coco Crush party. With a set brought to life by Faro, the party featured concertina mirrors in homage to the iconic Chanel Salon and saw everything from a star-studded guest list to sets from London’s most exciting DJs, unlimited drinks and an exclusive Chanel goody bag.
Below we broke down everything that went on during the party.
JAMIE XX CURATED THE NIGHT
For the campaign, British musician Jamie xx was enlisted to soundtrack the video – so it was only right he would be the star of the night. Aside from having the most anticipated headline set, Jamie also curated the music of the party. Calling upon some of his and our favourite DJs, attendees also enjoyed sets by Lil C, Jon Rust, Kemarr and Shannen SP.
IT WAS FASHION’S FIRST NIGHT OUT OF THE YEAR
As our first official party of the year, the guestlist was jam-packed with stars from all creative industries. Guests included the likes of Lucy Boynton, Olivia Dean, Bree Runway, Gene Gallagher, Cat Burns, Lennon Gallagher, Blondey McCoy, Francesca Hayward, Aitch, Laura Bailey, Amelia Dimoldenberg, Bimini, Katie Grand, Thomasin McKenzie, Bakar, and Daisy Maybe.
Hosted in Dazed Space, our new event location in 180 the Strand, the party was the first of its kind in the new venue.
With screens projecting the campaign starring actor Amandla Stenberg, new ambassador Bohemian Rhapsody actor Lucy Boynton, and Blackpink musician Jennie, guests could immerse themselves in the Coco Crush world. Throughout the space, mini music players, similar to the one Jennie uses in the campaign video, helped bring the campaign to life. Guests could also catch BTS footage from the new campaign in dedicated screening rooms. Elsewhere, there was an array of layered lighting, hybrid strobes and laser fixtures illuminating the space. Concertina mirrored walls took inspiration from Chanel Salon and directed guests to the dancefloor.
MARGS AND COSMOS WERE FLOWING ALL NIGHT
Throughout the night, guests enjoyed a bar filled with margaritas, cosmos, negronis, champagne and a specially curated menu by Jackson Boxer. The drinks were the perfect fuel to keep everyone vibrant and celebrating all night.
