ALLSAINTS NEW MUSIC CITIES: SOUTH LONDON
"If I could duplicate the sounds of south London it would sound like Irish music, on top of Nigerian music, on top of reggae, on top of gospel, cars with two loud sound systems going past, people talking in Urdu, cockney, everything going off at the same time." The New Music Cities documentary series explores the urban landscape through music. Roots Manuva, Mount Kimbie and Kwes all feature in the South London edition of Dazed's partnership with AllSaints.
An experimental piece of performance from Boychild, whose work dissolves the boundaries of gender. This film is directed by Luke Gilford and set to new music by Physical therapy.

Directed and scored by South African Mitch Stratten, this conceptual film creates an alternative universe inside the dead space of a white classroom. Stratten's inspirations for the film included the mining town in South Africa in which he grew up and his skateboarding friends.
