Prints for PCRF: Buy a photo to help aid efforts in Gaza

Featuring photos from Collier Schorr, Zora Sicher, Martin Parr and more, the fundraiser will help deliver medicine, food, water and other essentials to people in Gaza

Prints for PCRF is now selling art prints by a range of iconic artists to benefit the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund. Works are on sale for $100, including photographs by Martin Parr, Collier Schorr, Zora Sicher, Clifford Prince King, Moyra Davey, among 37 artists of different backgrounds, faiths, geographies and phases of their artistic careers.

The PCRF aims to provide medicine and medical supplies, shelter, food, water, hygiene items, and other essentials to people in Gaza. Amid stalling humanitarian efforts, its volunteer staff have managed to distribute some aid internally. “We are anxiously waiting for the opening of a safe and unrestricted humanitarian corridor,” the organisation adds, “so that we can bring in a larger amount of aid, such as healthcare supplies and medicines.”

Palestinian American artist Nabil Harb, whose work is included in the Prints for PCRF sale, says that the sale has been “weeks in the making” and the landscape for donations has changed significantly in this time, due to the impossibility of accessing Gaza to distribute aid packages. “Thankfully the PCRF has been able to continue to provide aid directly to Gazans who have been able to make it out and are actively in efforts, along with many other organisations, to demand a ceasefire to allow the rest of their aid in where it’s needed most.”
