In a fusion of innovation and artistic expression, Vuse, the leading global vape brand*, and the McLaren Formula 1 Team, have joined forces once again to celebrate Driven by Change’s debut in Japan. This month they have announced a year-long collaboration with MILTZ, an emerging Japanese artist redefining tradition through modern art. MILTZ’s passion for revitalizing ancient Japanese scripts, notably “Edomoji,” echoes a vibrant blend of influences, from street murals to Arabic and Chinese-Mongolian calligraphy. Departing from conventional paths, MILTZ’s journey embraces a reset towards authenticity, echoing a sentiment reflected in his art.
Discussing the opportunity, MILTZ says, “I am honoured to be the first artist from Japan involved in the Driven by Change program. Through this partnership, I aim to inspire individuals to embrace the past, envision the future, and nurture their creative exploration.”
MILTZ joins a prestigious cohort of creatives in the Driven by Change initiative, a platform championing emerging talent worldwide. Since its inception in 2021, the program has hosted numerous collaborations, notably featuring Rabab Tantawy as the first female artist from the Middle East to design a Formula 1 car livery. With MILTZ’s inclusion, Driven by Change continues its mission to champion diverse voices in the global creative landscape, fostering a community of artists such as Nujood Al-Otaibi, Anna Tangles, Luis Pablo, DAST, and Delyafruz.
